In this article we are going to take a close look at the eBay Sellers that are not only selling Nu Skin products illegally but also selling Nu Skin skin care and dietary supplements that are out of date. Originally this information came to me from a Blue Diamond Executive of NuSkin Enterprises as she was shocked to learn how dishonest people are and the lengths they will go to make money online.

First of all it is against the Policies and Procedures for any distributor to sell Nu Skin products on third party sites. Taken directly from Nu Skin’ website:

====
“Please take a moment and make yourself aware of our Policies and Procedures, particularly regarding online product sales and third party auction sites, such as eBay.”

“Selling company products through a non-Company website, including eBay, is a violation of Section 20.I of our Policies and Procedures.”

“We recommend that Distributors inform customers that Nu Skin products purchased on eBay carry no guarantees, they cannot be returned (to Nu Skin) for a refund, and they also carry no warranties regarding performance, etc.”

Nu Skin Enterprises eBay Sellers Selling Out Of Date Products

Doing a search on eBay though you will find 1,800+ auctions for Nu Skin products such as Nu Skin AgeLoc Facial Gels, Galvanic Spa Facial Gels with ageLOC and Nu Skin Galvanic Facial Spa. From the limited research I conducted on some of these auctions the amount of money that Nu Skin and it’s distributors are losing is in excess of $500,000 in the last 6 months. There are some eBay sellers I seen that have sold over 1,000 Nu Skin products at an average price of $189.00 – others I have seen sold 500+ of the same item and even 700+ of the same item.

This means these are power sellers on eBay and not just normal everyday list a few items for sale sellers. The problem here is not just money though because the products they are selling are also out of date from what I hear from my sources. I guess some distributors obtained these products for free after they expired but was specifically told they are not to sell the Nu Skin products.

This poses another serious problem because some people could be seriously harmed by these eBay sellers selling Nu Skin product that is out of date. While I am not some health and beauty expert I am sure that there is a possibility of harm coming to those using out of date products. According to Skin Care News they state it could harm your skin:

====
Nothing lasts forever, especially when it comes to cosmetics and skincare. Although you may hate to say goodbye to a favorite cleanser, cream or concealer – especially if the product was pricey – using a product after it’s expired can actually harm your skin. Unfortunately, knowing when to pitch products isn’t always so straightforward. Oftentimes, your beauty and skincare products don’t have an expiration date or when there is one, it’s simply a suggested use-by date. But the actual shelf life can depend on when products are opened and how they’re stored.

The current news in the marketplace is that eBay sellers are listing auctions and selling Nu Skin products without authorization from Nu Skin Enterprises. Selling these products on eBay is strictly against the terms and agreements that distributors agree to when they signup with Nu Skin. The auctions listed are not posted by Nu Skin Enterprises – they are posted from eBay sellers trying to make money off the back of a well respected company.

Original Source:
Products such as Nu Skin AgeLoc Facial Gels, Galvanic Spa Facial Gels with ageLOC, Nu Skin Galvanic Facial Spa System are some popular items being sold illegally on eBay. Health and beauty products account for billions in sales every year which is one reason why Nu Skin is one of the targets of these eBay sellers. Currently there are more than 1,800 auctions on eBay for Nu Skin products, both personal care products and dietary supplements.

Nu Skin Enterprises The New Target For Unethical eBay Sellers

It is understood from a few inside distributors I have talked with that these Nu Skin Products are out of date. According to these distributors when Nu Skin products are past the date of expiration then these products are given away to some distributors with the agreement that the product is not to be sold and should only be used at your own risk. Due to the amount of auction on eBay and the listing on other sites such as amazon it is obvious that someone got the idea to make free money by selling these Nu Skin products.

I am not saying that it’s distributors selling the Nu Skin products on eBay but the fact remains that at some point these distributors that got the product for free did sell the product to someone else. It is very possible those that purchased the Nu Skin products do not even know about the expiration date or even know that it is illegal to sell Nu Skin products on eBay or Amazon.

The eBay auctions I have seen state the Nu Skin products such as Nu Skin AgeLoc Facial Gels, Galvanic Spa Facial Gels with ageLOC and Nu Skin Galvanic Facial Spa are brand new in the box. But none of these auctions stat the product is out of date because the eBay sellers know they will never sell anything that specifically says the Nu Skin products are out of date.

I would highly suggest before purchasing any Nu Skin products from eBay or Amazong that you think twice. I know the Nu Skin prices are cheaper and it looks like a great deal to you but honestly is your health really worth it ?
